Introducing a simplified user interface for B2G e-invoicing

TIE Kinetix, the leading provider of Partner Automation solutions, announced the FLOW Partner Automation Summer Release 2020 today, featuring a simplified user interface (UI) for business-to-government (B2G) e-invoicing. Available to all B2G customers in the coming weeks, the new UI provides a quick and easy way for suppliers to submit e-invoices to governmental institutions via simple copy and paste actions, while additional updates further expand the platform’s document exchange capabilities.

The FLOW Partner Automation platform, hereby referred to as FLOW, is continuously optimized to meet the ever-evolving needs of TIE Kinetix customers. In addition to the simplified UI for B2G e-invoicing, the Summer Release includes, but is not limited to, necessary FLOW portal upgrades, increased document and system integration capabilities, and improvements in reporting. All new features and functionalities are immediately available to all TIE Kinetix customers.

Portal-wide adjustments include the option to log in to FLOW with credentials from many accredited institutions using SURFconext single sign-on (SSO), as well as the ability for admins to assign default languages to new users. As for integration capabilities, users have the option to print SSCC barcode labels directly from the packaging description in the despatch advice. Finally, improvements in reporting can be found in B2G supplier adoption reports, which now include a solutions summary view to easily retrieve individual supplier status. 

It is also important to note the following FLOW upgrades:

  • Advanced subsidiary management for invoicing purposes
  • Partial turnaround capabilities for all documents  
  • Data extraction improvements in PDF-2-FLOW
  • Updated date/time format for ANSI X12 documents
  • Improved user-specific integration widgets
