The EDI provider demonstrates its expertise in the B2B retail space

TIE Kinetix announced today that they are supporting Intratuin, a Dutch garden center and décor franchise, in achieving next level procure-to-pay automation over an initial contract period of three years. As part of a phased approach, over one thousand suppliers will be onboarded to the FLOW Partner Automation platform.

As a growing franchise with approximately 1,100 suppliers and 65 store locations, Intratuin has faced new challenges in their supply chain which they aim to solve by enhancing their digital capabilities. Unsatisfied with an earlier attempt with one service provider, Intratuin chose TIE Kinetix to transform their operations with an EDI solution capable of helping them to achieve their end goal. That is, achieving 100% supply chain digitalization by connecting all suppliers, 400 of which are currently in scope.

“Intratuin is a household name in the Netherlands, and we’re honored to support them in achieving their supply chain digitalization goals,” says Jan Sundelin, CEO, TIE Kinetix. “With strict deadlines to meet and suppliers of all shapes and sizes, Intratuin chose TIE Kinetix because of our extensive knowledge and experience in the B2B retail space. Our team was able to integrate our EDI solution with Intratuin’s core systems and quickly connect them to EDI-enabled suppliers, as well as those with no prior EDI experience.”

Launching a full-scale EDI implementation project on a tight schedule is no small task, and Intratuin needed a flexible solution to maximize time to value. TIE Kinetix determined that a combination of two FLOW solutions would help Intratuin to realize success: a direct connection with a supplier system (EDI-2-FLOW) and a customized, web-based portal for manual entry (PORTAL-2-FLOW). With TIE Kinetix’s thorough approach to onboarding, including a fully automated online service and additional follow-up measures, Intratuin was able to meet their set deadlines.

Moreover, Intratuin continues to monitor and evaluate progress as more suppliers are onboarded. With a scalable platform and a core commitment to helping businesses achieve 100% supply chain digitalization, TIE Kinetix will continue to support Intratuin in their journey to procure-to-pay automation.

TIE Kinetix and Intratuin entered into the initial three-year agreement in 2020, with an expected value of  EUR 250,000. Following this period, the contract will be automatically renewed in one-year increments.
