A revamped user interface (UI) redefines simplicity and usability

TIE Kinetix, the leading provider of Partner Automation solutions, announced the Version 2.0 release of its FLOW Partner Automation Platform today. Based heavily on customer feedback, the update provides new and existing FLOW customers with a simplified user interface (UI) and an enhanced user experience (UX). All new FLOW customers will have immediate access to FLOW Version 2.0, and existing customers will be migrated.

The improved FLOW Version 2.0 UI entirely replaces its Version 1.0 predecessor. It is customizable at its core, enabling users to easily pick and choose the primary foundation of the portal layout, beginning with the homepage, navigation bar, and language settings. Regardless of personal preference during the initial setup, the portal maintains a unified look-and-feel throughout. Additionally, the Version 2.0 UI enables TIE Kinetix to use the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to optimize UX.

The FLOW Version 2.0 UI employs an “only show what is necessary for the task on the screen” approach, giving users a clean, uncomplicated workspace in which only relevant items are displayed. This not only makes it easier to manage various settings and configurations but also significantly reduces the time needed to complete a task. Furthermore, a newly implemented automation engine provides users with the option for automated partner onboarding—a feature that is especially useful in time-sensitive, high-priority situations.

Yet another advantage of the FLOW Version 2.0 UI is the ultra-simple electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) portal. The new UI provides a quick and easy way for B2B and B2G suppliers to submit invoices to their customers and/or governmental institutions via simple copy and paste actions. In fact, invoices can be entered into the FLOW portal directly from Excel in just two clicks. One supplier to the government, Marcel van Oostveen of Eastmore, says, “The less clicks the better the software. The new interface makes it easier for myself and other suppliers to submit invoices because TIE Kinetix reduced the number of clicks by at least 70%. And if an accounting program is able to generate the invoice as a spreadsheet in XLS, ODS, or whatever, then they reduced the number of clicks by 90%!” Users are also automatically notified of errors, ensuring that all invoice requirements are met for direct processing.

Jan Sundelin, CEO, TIE Kinetix, says: “The new user interface in FLOW Version 2.0 is a major step forward. So far, it is proving to be a strong foundation for further improvements to FLOW, not only in a technological sense but from a user experience perspective. We are excited to officially release FLOW Version 2.0 and, as always, are looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”
